Information We Collect

Analytics Data

We use privacy-focused analytics to improve the app. This service:

  • Collects anonymous usage data
  • Does not track personal information
  • Does not use cookies or persistent identifiers
  • Complies with GDPR and privacy regulations

Purchase Information

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat:

  • Processes App Store purchases
  • Manages premium feature access
  • Does not have access to your payment information
  • Stores only necessary transaction data

Data Storage

Your Expense Data

  • All your groups, expenses, and financial data are stored locally on your device
  • If enabled, data is synced through iCloud using your personal Apple ID
  • We cannot access your personal content

CloudKit Sharing

When you share a group with others:

  • Data is shared directly between devices using Apple’s CloudKit
  • Shared data is encrypted in transit
  • We do not have access to shared group data
  • Only invited participants can access shared groups

CSV Export

  • Exports are generated locally on your device
  • No export data is transmitted to our servers
  • You control where exports are saved

Data We Don’t Collect

  • Personal identification information
  • Financial account details or payment methods
  • Location data
  • Contact information beyond group participant names you manually enter
  • Third-party analytics or tracking

Third-Party Services

Apple Services

The app uses Apple’s built-in services:

  • iCloud for optional data sync (encrypted)
  • CloudKit for group sharing (encrypted)
  • App Store for purchases (handled by Apple)

No Account Required

  • No registration or login needed
  • No email addresses collected
  • No passwords stored
  • Start using the app immediately

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete all your data by uninstalling the app
  • Disable iCloud sync at any time
  • Stop sharing groups whenever you want
  • Export your data as CSV files

Data Security

  • All data is stored locally on your device
  • iCloud sync uses Apple’s encryption
  • CloudKit sharing is encrypted in transit
  • No data stored on third-party servers
